purchase up to 1,300 GMVs over the next 6 years to replace SOCOM’s current fleet of
specialized High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs).

TenCate Advanced Armor USA has developed an extensive product line of hard body armor that includes 15 families of plates. The plates are available in 8, 10 or 14 sizes per family depending on whether the focus is law enforcement or military operational environments. Currently, TenCate Advanced Armor has 7 families listed on the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) 0101.06 Compliance Product List, with plans to develop 5 new families each year. The current breakdown of the product line includes 3 plates for law enforcement concealable body armor, 9 plates for law enforcement plate carriers and tactical body armor, and 3 plates for military plate carriers and tactical body armor.

TenCate Advanced Armour has been selected by aerospace manufacturer Embraer as the supplier of aerospace armour for the Embraer A-29 Super Tucano military aircraft.
The Embraer EMB 314 – also named A-29 Super Tucano – is a turboprop aircraft designed for light attack, counter-insurgency, close air support, aerial reconnaissance missions in low threat environments, as well as providing pilot training.
TenCate Advanced Armour has developed into a fully accepted tier 1 aerospace armour company. The EN9100 certified facility of TenCate in France is providing the design, development and production of dedicated high quality aerospace ballistic protection for a number of high-profile helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft projects.
TenCate Advanced Armour as prime contractor for the armour and local partner Aerotron Brazil are working closely together with Embraer in the Joint Development Phase to finalize the design and prototypes of the ballistic protection according to the challenging time schedule, weight and performance requirements for the Super Tucano military aircraft program.
